Thanks for visiting this site. We are excited to be open and serving our new community in the Greenville/Travelers Rest, South Carolina area. We are a boutique fitness studio by appointment only. We offer Semi-Private 30 min. personal training, Nutrition Coaching & Massage Therapy Services. We need a good staff team and that starts with a great admin assistant. We hope that's YOU, so that we can take down this listing and get you started immediately. We have had some amazing assistants over the last 20+ years and we know we will acquire more great staff. FYI...We plan to hire 1-3 personal trainers as needed. We will need trainers to cover morning, evening and possibly lunch slots. In Memphis we saw clients as early as 5 a.m. and finished as late at 7 p.m. Since we are growing the business we will need Saturday trainers when requested. As for admin (your possible new position) we would work out hours that you can work alongside me one of the days on projects, etc and other days will have various tasks to perform.  We not only train clients onsite but also via zoom which means we also support virtual clients goals as well.

About me & my company:

My name is Tonya Tittle. I run a company called Energy Fitness. I have a Masters degree in Exercise Science, B.S. degree in Physical Education/Wellness Leadership, am a Licensed Massage Therapist and have numerous certifications to help our trainers be the best coach for our clients. We were in Memphis, Tennessee located at 552 South Main Street-Downtown Memphis from 2002-2021. We then relocated to South Carolina had a 2 year construction delay and are now open as of Aug. 23,2023
We are a private, personal fitness training studio about 2000 square foot by appointment only facility.  We work with our clients on both fitness and nutrition and are dedicated to helping women and men achieve their health and fitness goals. We have helped over 3,000 clients get healthier and fit since 2002. June 2023 was our 21st year anniversary.


HOURS:  If you are hired for this position, you'll need to be available Mondays for sure and the other days can be discussed for optimal benefit for both of us.   

There will be a 30 day trial period. Team members that have been the best & happiest have had this position in addition to possibly having part-time work elsewhere. We are willing to work around childcare pick up/drop off hours. 

Tasks You'll be Expected to Perform:
  • Demonstrate Energy Fitness core values: we are a health and fitness minded company
  • Answering door (this is only for prospects or massage clients that do not have the door code), greeting clients/prospects, and returning phone calls & texts from clients or prospects using the phone script we will provide as a guideline. We don't get a lot of walk-ins as we are up on a hill in a free standing building with a few parking spots.
  • Use Wellness Living software for client check ins, selling items in pro-shop or Answer client questions about their packages, billing info or scheduling needs.  
  • Supportive Paperwork:  Making sure the trainers have ample supply of printed workout protocol cards, client intake paperwork and all other office supplies.

  • Perform Fitness Consultations (as needed): Ideally, myself or one of the trainers will be doing this; however, as we get busier it may be necessary for another staff member to be trained in our system as well.
  • Follow up for fitness assessments:  Clients get post fitness assessments every 6 weeks or 12 workouts. This means they get pictures against the posture grid. They will need to be paired in grid format, emailed to our biz email then printed and put in their file.
  • Marketing: This is a big one. This ranges anywhere from helping write weekly blog posts, social media posts, website admin, planning events, email blasts, capturing client video testimonials, taking client pics in action, seo, creating flyers, etc.
  • Housekeeping: We strive to teach our clients to clean up after themselves and they usually do. This may entail cleaning bathrooms, floors, wiping down surfaces, windows, laundry folding (towels/sheets) (and washing/drying when we get to point of having washer/dryer onsite again), keeping supplies stocked such as toiletries, disinfectant bottles full, empty trash, keep soap, shampoo, conditioner bottles filled, desk area tidy/neat and organized etc..
  • Carry out manager agenda
Required Skills

  • Must be a good listener able to follow directions
  • Professional demeanor in person and on the phone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience in Word Press
  • Ability to work with computers well
  • Neat handwriting 
  • Basic Math Skills

  • Adept at adjusting to people's moods and personalities

  • Good Communication Skills/Etiquette- You will be talking with my clients, who are VERY important to me and prospective clients, who are also important.  You must be comfortable conversing on the phone &  in person. I will teach you everything you need to do but I can't teach you manners or professionalism.
  • People skills & personality - must LOVE working with people! You must be very comfortable working with people.  We tell our trainers that Shyness and personal training does not fit together nor does an unfriendly or standoffish front desk staff team member.  This is an upbeat environment and we like to have fun or at least as much fun as one can have whilst being tortured by a trainer or massage therapist.
  • Thoughtfulness and Organization - I need you to write the date, sets, and reps on the workout cards so all trainers can read and be thoughtful of all trainers and clients working in the studio at the same time you are working with your clients.
